Common questions
Which darts tournament has the most prize money?
The PDC World Darts Championship: £5,000,000 in total, and £1,000,000 to the champion, 4.4 times what the World Matchplay pays its winner.
How much does the winner get?
It ranges from £100,000 to £1,000,000. Across these majors the winner's cheque is between 16% and 22% of the whole fund.
Does prize money count towards the rankings?
Yes. The PDC world rankings are prize money won over the last two years, so these figures are what move players up and down the world rankings.
