T20 D18. That is the standard 2-dart finish for 96: treble 20, then double 18. It is a two-dart finish, so you can go at it with a dart in hand.

Hit single 20 instead of the treble and you are left on 76 with 1 dart in hand. You cannot finish 76 with 1 dart, so throw for a leave instead and take it next visit.
